From LORIX One - Wiki
Following the obsolescence of the actual NAND memory used in the LORIX One (Micron MT29F2G08ABAEAH4) and given the fact that in some situation, 256MB of NAND could be limitating, the LORIX One is now produced with 512MB of NAND since its hardware version 1.0d2.
|Version||Memory type||Memory size||Memory ECC bits|
Before version 1.0d2 (up to 1.0d)
The script nandflash-usb-lorixone-256.qml should be used to program it as described in the NAND programming page.
The machine "sama5d4-lorix-one" or "sama5d4-lorix-one-sd" should be used for Yocto image generation.
From version 1.0d2
This new versions brings a total memory of 512MB instead of 256MB. It brings also 8bits of ECC (Error Correcting Code) instead of 4 which brings a better overall error correction.
The script nandflash-usb-lorixone-512.qml should be used to program it as described in the NAND programming page.
The machine "sama5d4-lorix-one-512" or "sama5d4-lorix-one-512-sd" should be used for Yocto image generation.
Please note that the image generated using Yocto for the 256MB version cannot be used on the 512MB LORIX One's version (same for 512MB image on the 256MB version).
